This weekend (8-9 October 2016) I attended the first WordCamp Bucharest organized. Let me tell you a little about this event. It was the first event in Bucharest. It was organized by wonderful, talented and passionate people about what they do, very responsible and respectful.
It was a great teamwork; everyone did their part, like a well-oiled machine. The presentations were informative and the people were wonderful, sociable, fun and respectful. The food was plenty and tasty, cool banners, proper arrangements for participants and speakers, locations, hotels, guided tour of Bucharest, transportation, directions, after party. Everything you needed to know and everything you need to get to WordCamp Bucharest. Everything was well done.
From my point of view, a good organizer is the person who, if when there is a problem, manages to successfully solve. And this thing happened smooth, discreet and easy; things were solved in an instant.
This event was great. It was an experience from which all those in attendance left richer, fuller information, where they made new friends, and new collaborators/partners in their businesses.
At WordCamp I was a volunteer and helped welcoming and registering participants. For me personally it was a pleasant experience, it was a pleasure to help wonderful people. I grew up with this experience and I would love to repeat.
It was a great atmosphere. A great event. And I congratulate the organizers wholeheartedly! Great job! See you at the next one!
Well done all!!!
